US PRE MARKET

The Dow Futures are trading at 21,344.50 with a loss of -0.36% percent or -77.50 point. The Nasdaq Futures are trading at 5,609.50 with a loss of -0.74% percent or -42.00 point.

THURSDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

US markets ended higher on Thursday as Federal Reserve policy meeting minutes indicated central bank may start reducing its balance sheet soon and technology stocks rallied.
The dollar weakened marginally: the live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, closed down 0.05% at 96.20.
The S&P 500 added 0.2% settling at 2432.54 lifted by gains in technology, health care and financial stocks. The Dow Jones industrial average slipped less than 0.1% to 21478.17, as losses in Nike (NYSE:NKE), Chevron (NYSE:CVX) and Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM) shares offset gains in Boeing (NYSE:BA), Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) and Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT). Nasdaq rose 0.7% to 6150.86.

U.S. market  were mixed on Wednesday. For the day The S&P 500 closed at 2,432.54 for up with +0.15% percent or +3.53 point. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 21,478.17  with a loss of -0.01% percent or –1.10 point. The Nasdaq Composite closed at 6,150.86 for up with  +0.67% percent or +40.80 point.

Other leading market index closes included the small-cap Russell 2000 Index closed at 1,420.15 with a loss of -0.46% percent or -6.54 point; the S&P 600 Small-Cap Index closed at 857.25 with a loss of –0.71% percent or –6.09 point; the S&P 400 Mid-Cap Index closed at 1,751.94 with a loss of  –0.35% percent or –6.10 point; the S&P 100 Index closed at 1,072.77 for up with +0.21% percent or +2.27 point; the Russell 3000 Index closed at 1,441.80 for up with of +0.06% percent or +0.80 point; the Russell 1000 Index closed at 1,348.18 for up with +0.10% percent or +1.32 point; and the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index closed at 21,478.17 with a loss of-0.01% percent or –1.10 point.

India’s S&P BSE Sensex are trading at  31,395.51  for up with  +0.49% percent or +151.98 point at 12:15 PM. In Europe, the FTSE 100 are trading at 7,310.95  with a loss of  -0.76% percent or –56.87 point. Germany’s DAX are trading at 12,343.76 with a loss of  –0.88% percent or  –109.29 point.
