US PRE MARKET

The Dow Futures are trading at 21,937.00 for up with +0.43%% percent or +95.00 point. The Nasdaq Futures are trading at 5,899.38 for up with +0.29% percent or +16.88 point.

TUESDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

U.S. government debt prices were lower on Tuesday as investors digest fresh data releases.

The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury notes sat higher at 2.298 while the yield on the 30-year Treasury bond was also higher at 2.9 percent. Bond yields move inversely to prices.

Personal income and consumer spending data for June are set for release at 8:30 a.m. ET, while the IHS Markit Manufacturing PMI and the ISM manufacturing index are due at 9:45 a.m. ET and 10 a.m. ET, respectively. Construction spending numbers are also set for release at 10 a.m.

 U.S. auto makers will also release monthly sales numbers throughout the day. The data dump Tuesday will serve as a lead-up into Friday’s U.S. employment report, which is often considered the most important economic report of the month. Economists polled by Reuters expect the U.S. economy to have added 180,000 jobs last month.
