US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures are trading at 2,567.25 for up with +0.12% percent or +0.22% point. Other U.S. stock futures are higher in pre-market trading for Friday, October 27. The Dow Futures are trading at 23,382.50 for up with +0.14% percent or +33.50 point. The Nasdaq Futures are trading at 6,121.76 for up with +0.61% percent or +37.01 point.

FRIDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

U.S. government debt prices were mixed Friday as investors switched focus to the latest gross domestic product (GDP) data out of the U.S.

The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note sat higher at around 2.457 percent at 4:55 a.m. ET, while the yield on the 30-year Treasury bond was down at 2.958 percent. Bond yields move inversely to prices.

While earnings is expected to dominate a lot of discussion on Wall Street, the latest GDP figures for the U.S. is expected to keep the bond market on its toes.

Real GDP data is set to be published at 8:30 a.m. ET, followed by consumer sentiment at around 10 a.m. ET.

In central banking news, the European Central Bank announced Thursday that it plans on cutting the level of bonds that it buys every month; however, it will extend the monetary stimulus program until at least September 2018.

U.S. market were mixed on Thursday. For the day the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 23,400.86 for up with  +0.31% percent or +71.40 point. The S&P 500 closed at 2,560.40 for up  with +0.13% percent or  +3.25 point. The Nasdaq Composite closed at 6,556.77 with a loss of  –0.11% percent or –7.12 point.

Other leading market index closes included the small-cap Russell 2000 Index closed at 1,497.46 for up with +0.27% percent or +3.98 point; the S&P 600 Small-Cap Index closed at 911.22 for up with +0.49% percent or +4.40 point; the S&P 400 Mid-Cap Index closed at 1,829.27 for up with +0.48% percent or  +8.73 point; the S&P 100 Index closed at 1,127.48 with 0.00% percent or +0.04 point; the Russell 3000 Index closed at 1,518.02  for up with +0.17% percent or +2.59 point; the Russell 1000 Index closed at 1,419.25 for upwith +0.16%  percent or +2.31 point; and the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index closed at 23,400.86 for up with +0.31% percent or +71.40 point.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 28,421.56 for up with +0.78% percent or  +219.18 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,416.81 for up with +0.27% percent or  +9.25  point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 33,222.21 for up with +0.23% percent or +75.08 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 are trading at 7,493.74  for up with +0.10% percent or +7.24 point.
