US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 3,281.88 up with +1.12% percent or +36.38 point. Other U.S. stock futures higher in pre-market trading for  Feb 04.The Dow Futures is trading at 28,668.50 up with +1.08% percent or +307.50 point. The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 9,231.00  up with +1.28% percent or +116.75 point.

TUESDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

“There is optimism that we’re going to be able to contain the virus,” said Kent Engelke, chief economic strategist at Capitol Securities Management. “But my concern is really going back to the Chinese market,” he told MarketWatch, noting that trading was halted on shares of hundreds of companies Monday after prices fell 10%, triggering mandatory holds. “That’s dangerous and we don’t know how much lower they would have gone.”
