S&P Futures Opening Update as on 14 August 2018

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,837.50 up with +0.42% percent or +12.00 point. Other U.S. stock futures  higher in pre-market trading for Tuesday, August 14.The Dow Futures is trading at 25,323.00 up with +0.43% percent or +108.00 point. The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,457.50 up with +0.55% percent or +38.25 point.

TUESDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

U.S. stock index futures posted sharp gains ahead of Tuesday’s open, as investors tried to move on from the uncertainty surrounding Turkey’s economic crisis.

Around 5:45 a.m. ET, Dow futures rose 85 points, indicating a positive open of 121.30 points, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures also pointing to an upbeat start to the day.

MONDAY’S ACTIVITY

For the day the Dow is trading at 25,187.70 with a loss of -0.50% percent or -125.44 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,821.93 with  a loss of -0.40% percent or -11.35 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,819.71  with a loss of -0.25% percent or -19.40 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,356.08 up with +2.28% percent or +498.65 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,719.23 with a loss of -0.78% percent or -217.34 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,780.96 with a loss of  -0.18% percent or  -4.91  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 37,892.07 up with +0.66% percent or +247.17 point at 12:15 PM.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,719.23 with a loss of -0.78% percent or -217.34 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,780.96 with a loss of  -0.18% percent or  -4.91  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 37,892.07 up with +0.66% percent or +247.17 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,642.20 with a loss of -0.0033% percent or -0.25 point.
