S&P Futures Opening Update as on 23 November 2018

 

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,643.75 with a loss of  -0.20% percent or -5.50 point. Other U.S. stock futures lower in pre-market trading for  November 23.The Dow Futures is trading at 24,406.00  with a loss of  -0.24% percent or -59.00 point. The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 6,553.75  with  a loss of -0.34% percent or -22.50 point.

FRIDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed Wednesday’s session just below the flatline, erasing a 200-point jump, as shares of Apple failed to hold on to strong gains from earlier in the day.

The 30-stock index ended the day down just 0.95 points at 24,464.69 as it lost steam heading into the close. At its high of the day, it was up 204.15 points. Apple also gave up a 2.1 percent gain toward the end of the day to close just 0.1 percent lower.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere,Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,646.55 up with +0.65% percent or+139.01 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 25,911.96  with a loss of -0.41% percent or -107.45 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,579.48  with a loss of -2.49% percent or  -65.95 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 34,981.02  with a loss of -0.62% percent or -218.78 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 6,961.04  up with 0.010% percent or +0.72 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 11,149.39 up with +0.098% percent or +10.90 point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 4,942.59 up with +0.090% percent or +4.46  point.
