S&P Futures Opening Update as on 07 february 2019

  

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,716.88  with a loss of -0.46% percent or -12.62 point.   Other U.S. stock futures lower in pre-market trading for  February 07.The Dow Futures is trading at 25,220.50  with a loss of  -0.42% percent or -106.50 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 6,957.62  with a loss of -0.55% percent or -38.13 point.

THURSDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Market focus is largely attuned to global trade developments, with officials from the world’s two largest economies poised to meet for a fresh round of talks next week.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said on Wednesday trade representatives from Washington and Beijing would both aim to reach a dealnext week. The talks come with less than three weeks to go before a March 2 deadline could see an increase in U.S. tariffs on Chinese products.

A number of Fed members are also due to speak on Thursday. At 09:15 a.m. ET, Dallas Fed President Robert Kaplan will be taking part in a Q&A in Texas. At 7:30 p.m. ET, St. Louis Fed President James Bullard will be speaking on the state of the US economy in Minnesota

For the day the Dow is trading at 25,390.30 with a loss of -0.084% percent or -21.22 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,731.61  with a loss of -0.22% percent or -6.09 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,375.28  with a loss of -0.36% percent or -26.80 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 20,751.28   with a loss of -0.59% percent or -122.78 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,990.21 up with +0.21% percent or +59.47 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,618.23 up with +1.30% percent or +33.66 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,927.79  with a loss of -0.13% percent or -47.44 point at 12:15 PM.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 20,751.28   with a loss of -0.59% percent or -122.78 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,990.21 up with +0.21% percent or +59.47 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,618.23 up with +1.30% percent or +33.66 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,927.79  with a loss of -0.13% percent or -47.44 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,164.39  with a loss of -0.12% percent or -8.70 point.
