S&P Futures Opening Update as on 11 february 2019

  

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,716.38  up with +0.37% percent or +10.13 point.  Other U.S. stock futures higher in pre-market trading for  February 11. The Dow Futures is trading at 25,170.00 up with +0.35% percent or +89.00 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 6,949.75  up with +0.48% percent or +33.00 point.

MONDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

U.S. government debt prices were lower on Monday morning, with investors increasingly concerned about trade and another potential government shutdown.

At around 0300 a.m. ET, the yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note, which moves inversely to price, was higher at around 2.6357 percent, while the yield on the 30-year Treasury bond was also higher at 2.9763 percent.

There are further trade meetings between the U.S. and the Chinese administrations later this week. Time is running out ahead of the self-imposed deadlines of March 2. Failure to reach an agreement will raise U.S. tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese to 25 percent from 10 percent.

For the day the Dow is trading at 25,106.33 with a loss of -0.25% percent or -63.20 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,707.88  up with +0.068% percent or +1.83 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,298.20  up with +0.14% percent or +9.85 point.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,143.84 up with +0.71% percent or +197.52 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,653.90 up with +1.36% percent or +35.66 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,395.03  with a loss of -0.41% percent or -151.45 point at 12:15 PM.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 20,333.17   with a loss of -2.01% percent or -418.11 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,102.03  up with +0.56% percent or +155.71 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,652.04 up with +1.29% percent or +33.81 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,418.85  with a loss of -0.35% percent or -127.63 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,111.88  up with  +0.58% percent or +40.70 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 11,009.25 up with +0.94% percent or +102.47  point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 5,013.02 up with +1.04% percent or +51.39 point.
