S&P Futures Opening Update as on 04 March 2019

  

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,813.38 up with +0.30% percent or +8.38 point.  Other U.S. stock futures higher in pre-market trading for  March 04. The Dow Futures is trading at 26,116.50 up with +0.33% percent or +85.50 point. The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,192.75 up with +0.51% percent or +36.75 point.

MONDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Market players are focused on U.S.-China trade developments, amid mixed messages about the progress of talks between Washington and Beijing over the last days.

The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday that China had proposed to bring down duties on certain American goods in an attempt to strike a deal with the Trump administration. The same report suggested that both countries are at the final stage of their negotiation, which could see the country’s leaders meeting at a special summit to sign a trade deal soon.

For the day the Dow is trading at 26,026.32  up with +0.43% percent or +110.32 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,803.69 up with +0.69% percent or +19.20 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,595.35  up with +0.83% percent or +62.82  point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere,  Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,822.04 up  with +1.02% percent or +219.35 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 29,025.98  up with +0.74% percent or +213.81 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,027.58  up with +1.12% percent or +33.57 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,063.81 up with +0.55% percent or +196.37 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,118.80  up with +0.17% percent or +12.07 point.
