S&P Futures Opening Update as on 27 March 2019

 

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,817.12  with a loss of -0.21% percent or -5.88 point.  Other U.S. stock futures lower in pre-market trading for  March 27.The Dow Futures is trading at 25,599.50  with a loss of -0.30% percent or -76.50 point. The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,368.62  with a loss of -0.06%  percent or -4.37 point.

WEDNESDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

the yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note, which moves inversely to price, was lower at around 2.4088 percent, while the yield on the 30-year Treasury bond was also lower at 2.8639 percent.

The bond market is under scrutiny amid concerns over global economic growth. Last Friday, the yield curve between the three-month Treasury bill and the 10-year bond inverted — this is usually perceived as a signal a recession could be around the corner.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,732.72 up with +0.58% percent or +165.81  point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,022.72 up with +0.85% percent or +25.62 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 38,445.07  up with +0.55% percent or +211.66 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,167.09  with  a loss of -0.41% percent or -29.20 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 11,385.68  with a loss of -0.30% percent or  -33.80 point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 5,289.19  with a loss of -0.34% percent or -18.18 point.
