S&P Futures Opening Update as on 08 April 2019

 

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,892.38  with a loss of  -0.12% percent or -3.62 point. Other U.S. stock futures lower in pre-market trading for  April 08.The Dow Futures is trading at 26,317.00  with a loss of -0.29% percent or -77.00 point. The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,594.88 with a loss of -0.12%  percent or -9.37 point.

MONDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

the yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note, which moves inversely to price, was lower at around 2.4917 percent, while the yield on the 30-year Treasury bond was also lower at 2.8993 percent.

On the data front, factory orders for February will be published at around 10:00 a.m. ET.

The U.S. Treasury is set to auction $42 billion in 13-week bills and $36 billion in 26-week bills.

Meanwhile, oil prices rose to their highest level since November 2018 on Monday. The upswing in crude futures comes amid OPEC’s ongoing supply cuts and U.S. sanctions against Iran and Venezuela.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,761.65  with a loss of -0.21% percent or -45.85 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 30,052.17 up with +0.39% percent or +115.85 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,242.07  with a loss of -0.14% percent or ?4.50 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 38,779.57   with a loss of  -0.21% percent or -82.66 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,455.01  up with  +0.11% percent or +8.14 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 11,985.78  with  a loss of -0.20% percent or  – 23.97 point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 5,485.19 up with +0.16% percent or +8.99 point.
