S&P Futures Opening Update as on 28 May 2019

 

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,824.88   with a loss of -0.24% percent or -6.87 point. Other U.S. stock futures lower in pre-market trading for  May 28.The Dow Futures is trading at 25,584.00 with a loss of -0.14% percent or -36.00 point. The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,302.50  with a loss of -0.18% percent or -13.00 point.

TUESDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Market participants are likely to closely monitor a flurry of economic data reports, with the S&P/Case-Shiller home prices index (HPI) and the Federal Housing Finance Agency HPI for March both expected at around 9:00 a.m. ET.

Consumer confidence, Richmond Fed surveys and Dallas Fed manufacturing data for May will all follow slightly later in the session.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Treasury is set to auction $36 billion in 13-week and 26-week bills, $40 billion in 2-year notes and $41 billion in 5-year notes on Tuesday.

Other leading market index closes included the small-cap Russell 2000 Index closed at 1,514.11 up  with +0.85% percent or +12.73 point; the S&P 600 Small-Cap Index closed at 917.54 up with +0.89% percent or +8.09 point; the S&P 400 Mid-Cap Index closed at 1,862.83  up with +0.50% percent or +9.26 point; the S&P 100 Index closed at 1,250.67  up with +0.11% percent or +1.36 point; the Russell 3000 Index closed at 1,663.36 up with +0.21% percent or +3.46 point; the Russell 1000 Index closed at 1,564.78   up with +0.16% or +2.51 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,260.14  up with +0.37% percent or +77.56 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,388.96  up with +0.37% percent or +100.87   point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,898.13  up with +0.20% percent or +5.76 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 39,643.29  with a loss of -0.10% percent or -40.00  point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,282.86  up with +0.070% percent or +5.13 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 12,044.69  with a loss of -0.22% percent or  -26.49 point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 5,317.92  with a loss of -0.34% percent or -18.27 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 is trading at 375.73  with a loss of -0.28% percent or -1.10   point.
