S&P Futures Opening Update as on 01 July 2019

 

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,977.62  up with +1.13% percent or +33.37 point.Other U.S. stock futures higher in pre-market trading for  July 01. The Dow Futures is trading at 26,869.50 up with +1.04% percent or +276.50 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,828.75  up with +1.75% percent or +135.00 point.

MONDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Market focus is largely attuned to global trade developments, after the world’s two largest economies agreed to resume trade negotiations over the weekend.

President Donald Trump offered concessions to his Chinese counterpart when the two leaders met on the sidelines of the Group of Twenty (G-20) summit in Japan last week.

These included no new charges and an easing of restrictions on Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei in order to soothe tensions with Beijing.

For the day the Dow is trading at 26,599.96 up with +0.28% percent or +73.38 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,941.76 up with +0.58% percent or +16.84 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 8,006.24  up with +0.48% percent or +38.49 point.

Other leading market index closes included the small-cap Russell 2000 Index closed at 1,566.57  up with +1.29% percent or +20.02 point; the S&P 600 Small-Cap Index closed at 953.25 up with +1.37% percent or +12.91 point; the S&P 400 Mid-Cap Index closed at 1,945.51 up with +1.21% percent or +23.21 point; the S&P 100 Index closed at 1,297.46 up with +0.40% percent or +5.21 point; the Russell 3000 Index closed at 1,730.90  up with +0.66% percent or +11.42 point; the Russell 1000 Index closed at 1,629.02  up with +0.62% or +10.00 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,729.97  up with +2.13% percent or +454.05point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,542.62  with a loss of -0.28% percent or -78.80 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,044.90  up with +2.22% percent or +66.02 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 39,670.42 up with +0.70% percent or +275.78 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,517.28 up  with +1.23% percent or +91.65 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 12,554.50 up with +1.26% percent or +155.70 point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 5,583.44 up  with +0.80% percent or +44.48 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 is trading at 388.22 up with +0.87% percent or +3.35 point.
