S&P Futures Opening Update as on 18 November 2019

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 3,122.88  up with +0.15% percent or +4.63 point.  Other U.S. stock futures higher in pre-market trading for  November 18.The Dow Futures is trading at 28,017.50  up with +0.23% percent or +64.50 point. The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 8,333.00 up with +0.17% percent or +14.25 point.

MONDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Equities markets have posted gains this week as investors remain hopeful that positive developments in U.S.-China trade relations will soon justify recent record highs for the major stock indexes.

“Investors continue to hang onto every word associated with the U.S.-China trade war,” said Russ Mould, investment director at AJ Bell. “White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow reportedly said that current negotiations between the two countries are ‘very constructive’, which was enough to drive stock markets up across the U.K., mainland Europe and most of Asia.”

For the day the Dow is trading at 28,004.89  up with +0.80% percent or +222.93 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,120.46 up with +0.77% percent or +23.83 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 8,540.83 up with +0.73% percent or +61.81 point.
