US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures are trading at 2,441.25 for up with +0.26% percent or +6.25 point. Other U.S. stock futures are lower in pre-market trading for Monday, June 26. The Dow Futures are trading at 21,407.50 for up with  +0.32% percent or +68.50 point. The Nasdaq Futures are trading at 5,838.62 for up with  +0.45% percent or +26.37 point.

MONDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Durable Goods Orders for May will be published this morning and the market is waiting for that to get a clue of the second quarter outlook. Initial trading at the U.S. Futures Index suggest that Wall Street might open higher. Asian shares closed broadly higher, while European shares are trading higher.

As of 6.15 am ET, the Dow futures were climbing 66 points, the S&P 500 futures were gaining 5.75 points and the Nasdaq 100 futures were progressing 18.25 points.

U.S. stocks closed mixed on Friday. The Dow slipped 2.53 points or less than a tenth of a percent to 21,394.76, the Nasdaq climbed 28.56 points or 0.5 percent to 6,265.25 and the S&P 500 rose 3.80 points or 0.2 percent to 2,438.30.

On the economic front, the Commerce Department’s Durable Goods Orders for May will be announced at 8.30 am ET. The Economists are looking for consensus of a decline of 0.4 percent, while it declined 0.7 percent in the last month.

U.S. market indexes were mixed on Friday. For the day The S&P 500 closed at 2,438.30 for up with  +0.16% percent or  +3.80 point. the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 21,394.76 with a loss of  –0.01% percent or –2.53 point. The Nasdaq Composite closed at 6,265.25 for up with +0.46% percent or +28.56 point.

Other leading market index closes included the small-cap Russell 2000 Index closed at 1,414.78 for up with +0.73% percent or +10.24 point; the S&P 600 Small-Cap Index closed at 853.17 for up with +0.92% percent or +7.75 point; the S&P 400 Mid-Cap Index closed at 1,743.95 for up with +0.43% percent or +7.53 point; the S&P 100 Index closed at 1,075.43 for up with   +0.14% percent or +1.55 point; the Russell 3000 Index closed at 1,444.55 for up with +0.24% percent or  +3.46 point; the Russell 1000 Index closed at 1,351.39 for up with  +0.20% percent or +2.71 point; and the Dow Jones U.S. Select Dividend Index closed at21,394.76 with a loss of  –0.01% percent or –2.53 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 20,153.35 for up with +0.10% percent or +20.68 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 25,871.89 for up with  + 0.79% percent or +201.84 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,185.44 for up with +0.87% percent or +27.57 point. India’s S&P BSE Sensex are trading at 31,138.21 with a loss of –0.49% percent or –152.53 point as on friday  at 12:16 PM . In Europe, the FTSE 100 are trading at 7,471.09 for up with  +0.63% percent or  +46.96 point. Germany’s DAX are trading at 12,836.53 for up with  +0.81% percent or +103.12 point. France’s CAC 40 are trading at 5,318.23 for up with +0.99% percent or +52.11 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 are trading at 390.71 for up with +0.80% percent or +3.10 point.
