S&P Futures Opening Update as on 18 July 2017

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures are trading at 2,456.62 with a loss of -0.08% percent or -1.88 point. Other U.S. stock futures are lower in pre-market trading for Tuesday, July 18. The Dow Futures are trading at 21,582.50 with a loss of -0.01% percent or -3.00 point. The Nasdaq Futures are trading at 5,847.12 with a loss of -0.13% percent or -7.88 point.

TUESDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

U.S. stock index futures pointed to a relatively flat open on Tuesday, as investor attention shifted to the bumper pack of earnings set to come out.

In earnings news, IBM is one of the major names set to report. Bank of America and Dow components Johnson & Johnson and Goldman Sachs reported earlier on Monday.

Investors will also be gearing up for a slew of data, including import prices and the Business Leaders Survey, both due out at 8:30 a.m. ET.

 The Housing Market Index and Treasury International Capital (TIC) data will follow this at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. respectively.
