WEDNESDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS
U.S. government debt prices were higher on Wednesday, as investors switched focus to the latest coming out of the economic data sphere.
The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note sat lower at around 2.336 percent at 4:55 a.m. ET, while the yield on the 30-year Treasury bond was down at 2.713 percent. Bond yields move inversely to prices.
On the data front, mortgage applications are due out at 7 a.m. ET, followed by ADP National Employment report at 8:15 a.m. ET, and productivity and costs data at 8:30 a.m. ET. The figures come two days before the U.S. nonfarm payrolls data for November, due out on Friday.
