S&P Futures Opening Update as on 03 May 2019

 

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,925.88  up with +0.29% percent or +8.38 point.Other U.S. stock futures higher in pre-market trading for  May 03.The Dow Futures is trading at 26,332.50 up with +0.26% percent or +67.50 point. The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,774.38 up with +0.52% percent or +40.13 point.

FRIDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

U.S. government debt yields rose on Thursday as investors pored over the Federal Reserve’s latest statement as well as commentary from Chairman Jerome Powell.

At around 11:26 a.m. ET, the yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note, which moves inversely to price, was 5 basis points higher at 2.55%, while the yield on the 30-year Treasury bond was up at 2.944%.

The Fed on Wednesday said that it is keeping interest rates unchanged, though Chair Powell added that officials saw a decline in inflation in the first quarter as simply “transcient”

For the day the Dow is trading at 26,307.79 with a loss of -0.46% percent or -122.35 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,917.52 with a loss of -0.21% percent or -6.21 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 8,036.77  wilth  a loss of -0.16% percent or -12.87 point.
