S&P Futures Opening Update as on 03 June 2019

 

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,755.12 with a loss of -1.27% percent or -35.38 point.  Other U.S. stock futures lower in pre-market trading for  June 03.The Dow Futures is trading at 24,891.00  with a loss of -1.19% percent or -299.00 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,142.25  with a loss of -1.56% percent or -113.00 point.

MONDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The 10-year yield has tumbled from around 2.5% at the start of May to its lowest level in 20 months. That decline has also led to a yield-curve inversion, with the 3-month bill rate trading above its 10-year counterpart. An inverted yield curve is seen by experts as a sign that a recession may loom ahead.

On the data front, a final reading of manufacturing PMI (Purchasing Managers’ Index) data for May will be released at around 9:45 a.m. ET. The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) ISM manufacturing index for May, construction spending figures for April and light vehicle sales data will all follow slightly later in the session.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 26,853.49 with a loss of -0.18% percent or -47.60   point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,889.21  with a loss of -0.33% percent or -9.49 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 39,987.70  with +0.69% percent or +273.50 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,134.32 with a loss of -0.38% percent or -27.39 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 11,683.44 with a loss of -0.37% percent or  -43.40 point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 5,194.43 with a loss of -0.25% percent or -13.19 point.
