S&P Futures Opening Update as on 26 June 2019

US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,937.12 up with +0.52% percent or +15.12 point. Other U.S. stock futures higher in pre-market trading for June 26. The Dow Futures is trading at 26,687.50 up with +0.47% percent or +125.50 point. The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,688.88 up with +0.79% percent or +60.13 point.

THURSDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Traders are monitoring tensions between Iran and the U.S., after the latter announced sanctions against Tehran. At the same time, there’s also some focus on trade talks between China and Washington ahead of a G-20 meeting laterthis week, where both President Trump and President Xi are due to meet.

In terms of Fed speeches, Fed Chairman Jerome Powell will speak at the Council on Foreign Relations, starting at 1 p.m. ET. New York Fed President John Williams will also speak at 8:45 a.m. ET.
