US PRE MARKET

The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,870.12 up with +0.16% percent or +4.62 point. Other U.S. stock futures higher in pre-market trading for  August 28.The Dow Futures is trading at 25,771.00 up with +0.10% percent or +27.00point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,572.88 up with +0.13% percent or +10.13 point.

WEDNESDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

U.S. stock index futures turned lower Wednesday morning after a key part of the U.S. yield curve inverted even further, exacerbating fears of an impending recession.

At around 06:00 a.m. ET, Dow futures rose 2 points, indicating a negative open of more than 19 points. Futures on the S&P and Nasdaq were both slightly lower.

The closely watched spread between the 10-year Treasury yield and the 2-year rate fell to negative 6 basis points Wednesday morning. The move extended losses from the previous session when the spread registered its lowest level since 2007
