FRIDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.66%  rose 182.24 points, or 0.66%, to a record 27,674.80, while the S&P 500 index SPX, +0.27% gained 8.4 points, or 0.27%, to an all-time high of 3,085.18. The Nasdaq Composite index COMP, +0.28% added 23.89 points, or 0.28%, to 8,434.52, its second-highest close in history, according to Dow Jones Market Data.
