US PRE MARKET

The Dow Futures are trading at 21,784.00 for up with +0.09% percent or +20.00 point. The Nasdaq Futures are trading at 5,951.25 for up with +0.20% percent or +10.63 point.

WEDNESDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

U.S. government debtyields were slightly higher Wednesday, as investors analyzed latest data ahead of the European Central Bank (ECB) Governing Council meeting on Thursday.

The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury note sat higher at around 2.077 percent at 7:27 a.m. ET, while the yield on the 30-year Treasury bond was up at 2.694 percent. Bond yields move inversely to prices.

Yesterday, the 10-year note hit a low of 2.079 percent, its lowest level since November 2016, when it yielded as low as 1.991 percent.

Total mortgage application volume increased 3.3 percent, from the previous week, according to the Mortgage Bankers Association’s seasonally adjusted report. Volume remains 23 percent lower than the same week one year ago, when rates were even lower.
