The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 4,459.30 with a loss of -0.45% percent or -20.40 point.Other U.S. stock futures lower in pre-market trading for Aug 17.The Dow Futures is trading at 35,414.50 with a loss of -0.59% percent or -210.90 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 15,091.90 with a loss of -0.32% percent or -48.90 point.

 

TUESDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Florida, Louisiana, Hawaii, Oregon and Mississippi all reached new peaks in their seven-day average of new cases per day as of Sunday, according to a CNBC analysis of data compiled by Johns Hopkins University. On a per capita basis, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida are suffering from the three worst outbreaks in the country.
