The major averages are elevated across the board. The Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq are poised to end their four-day losing streaks. Ten of the 11 S&P sectors are experiencing gains today. Communication services have increased by 1.9%. Technology company Hewlett Packard Enterprise is currently at the forefront of the S&P 500, with shares experiencing an increase of nearly 11%.

Similarly, shares for Dell Technologies have increased by nearly 11% following RBC’s initiation of coverage and assignment of an outperform rating.Seagate Technology has experienced a decline of more than 3.4%, positioning it as the poorest performer within both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq indices.

Cisco Systems is the largest percentage gainer in the Dow today, rising by 4.1%, while Caterpillar has made the most significant contribution to the Dow’s increase, adding 95 points. Meanwhile, UnitedHealth, Amgen, and Johnson & Johnson are experiencing declines within the Dow.
