The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 4,290.80 with a loss of –1.26% percent or -54.90 point.Other U.S. stock futures lower in pre-market trading for Oct 06.The Dow Futures is trading at 33,950.70 with a loss of -1.06% percent or -364.00 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 14,457.40  with a loss of -1.48% percent or –216.70 point.

 

WEDNESDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

In terms of individual share price movement in Europe, British grocery giant Tesco climbed 4.2% after upgrading its outlook following strong first-half results.

At the bottom of the European blue chip index, Danish medical device company Ambu tumbled 6.9% after warning that revenue growth and earnings will fall below previous guidance.
